Coolpad is a Chinese smartphone brand that focuses on entry level smartphones. They have been releasing different phones in Nepal as well. Recently, the company launched the Cool 20 in China. It is also a entry level samrtphone with Helio G8 chipset, 48MP camera, and so on. Let’s have a look at the specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Coolpad Cool 20 in Nepal.

Display and Design

Coolpad Cool 20 sports a 6.52-inch screen with a teardrop notch that encloses a selfie snapper. It uses an IPS LCD technology and has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels resulting in a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 269PPI density. Because it an entry-level smartphone, it has a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

From the back, it looks quite similar to Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G that was recently launched in China. It measures 164.3 x 75.66 x 8.65mm and weighs around 199.6g. It has a rectangular camera module that houses a dual-camera setup and a LED flash. However, the company has tried to show the LED flash as a triple camera. There is a big “COOL” branding, still, it is smaller than the “Dare to Leap” branding in Realme phones.

Camera

The handset flaunts a dual-camera setup on the back. The setup is led by a 48MP primary sensor accompanied by an AI portrait lens. On the front, there is a 4MP selfie shooter. Both rear and front cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.

The rear camera has different features like 48MP mode, EIS, time-lapse, slow-motion, panorama, professional mode, and many more. You can take portrait shots from both the rear and front cameras with some AI beautification features as well.

Cool 20 is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset mated with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. You also get a microSD card slot for expanding the storage. It runs on Android 11 with CoolOS skin on the top.

Fueling the phone is a 4500mAh battery which is sufficient for a 720P 60Hz display. Unfortunately, it lacks fast charging which is rear in such price range. It features, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetoothv5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is available in three different color options: Earl Black, Sea Blue, and Cocoa White.

Coolpad Cool 20 Price in Nepal and Availability

Coolpad Cool 20 will be available in China from June 1 with a price tag of CNY 699 for the 4/64GB variant. If you want to buy 4/128GB and 6/128GB variants then you have to pay CNY 499 and CNY 1,099 respectively.
