FUP (Fair Usage Policy)
Using Fair Usage Policy (FUP), ISPs are allowed to limit or reduce the internet speeds on unlimited packages. When customers use a large amount of data, IPS slows down the speed. If you purchase a 120Mbps unlimited connection, your speed will be restricted during peak hours. You shouldn’t be over-excited watching such high speed shown in advertisements because they just want you to purchase the unlimited package.
How FUP works on CG Net?
FUP Level | Original Data Bandwidth | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 |
Data Usage Quota | Up to 1900GB | 1900 – 2000 GB | 2000- 2100 GB | More than 2100GB |
FUP Speed Policy | Original Speed (120Mbps) | 50% of original speed (60Mbps) | 30% of original speed (36Mbps) | 10% of original speed (12Mbps) |
